Few days from that day. Work Keys is test that sets you with what jobs apply to you. But the points required from each book shows if you are able to get higher paying jobs or lower paying jobs. I get 200 bucks/dollars just for taking it. It's only for students in the Launch Program (a program for High School drop-outs that come from low income familys). They pay for my college as well as help me find a job. I'm nearing the end, and hopefully start my 6 months of basic Math, Science, English, & History in Spring 2014. Then later on will be a year of Robotics, then to top it all off is 6 months welding. While in, I'll be in co-op. Which means the college will have a job for me in the community of the field I'm going in (Robotics). After my two years (2016), I can keep the job from college or move back toward home.
Here's the Facebook page for the college. And the Official website.
Original plan was to start Calhoun in fall next year, but I have a meeting tomorrow morning to talk about getting in early so I can do my basics at Calhoun in Huntsville, AL. Then move on to Decatur, AL which is a 2 hour drive from here. Along with this, I can take me 1 year (Robotics) & 6 months (Welding) online, but have to come down to Decatur at least 2 days a week.
